China Galaxy Securities (stock code: 06881.HK ) was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on May 22th, 2013, with record-breaking line-up of 21 underwriters hired for its IPO. Among the underwriters, ABC International (“ABCI”) was honored to have acted as Joint Global Coordinator and Joint Bookrunner to assist the issuer to raise a fund totaling HK$8.3 billion.
The company, a nationwide State-funded securities company, sold 1.57 billion primary shares at HK$ 5.30 each piece. The global offering captured robust demand from global institutional investors and retail investors with its Hong Kong public tranche covering 29 times oversubscription and 5 times oversubscription in the international tranche.
